Product Update – Tornatech electric and diesel fire pump controllers will be equipped with our NEW ViZiTouch 2.1 operator interface

We are delighted to announce an upgrade to our operator interface. All purchase orders having been received as of March 1, 2023, for Tornatech electric and diesel fire pump controllers will be equipped with our new ViZiTouch 2.1 operator interface.

In addition to the overall look of the operator interface being given a more modern look, there are two major changes including a capacitive type of touch screen in lieu of a resistive type of touch screen. It has the same feel as your smartphone and provides greater impact protection. Secondly, the ViZiTouch 2.1 will have an embedded audible alarm (buzzer type) which will replace the alarm bell. It will have the same dB characteristics as the alarm bell and in addition, offer the capability of adjusting the volume in certain situations. All other features and functionalities including menu navigation remain the same as the ViZiTouch V2.

Additionally, the ViZiTouch 2.1 is compatible with the ViZiTouch V2 i/o board which means, for service and replacement purposes, a ViZiTouch V2 operator interface will be replaced by ViZiTouch 2.1.

Please note that while our model numbers will remain the same, this change may affect the dimensions of the Fire Pump Controller itself. Our website has been updated with the latest marketing and technical information.
