Model JP

  • Designed to control jockey pumps which maintain water pressure in fire pump serviced systems.
  • Prevents unnecessary starting of the fire pump due to small leaks in the sprinkler system piping.
  • Solid State Controls with Digital iPD+ Operator Interface
  • Single and Three Phase models

Model JPY

  • Used to reduce the start current applied to the motor during starting.
  • Initially starts in a star configuration and then switches to a delta configuration after a pre set period of time.
  • Full voltage starting torque is reduced by approximately 33%.

Model JPD

  • Designed to alternatively control two jockey pumps (lead and standby).
  • Manually select the lead jockey pump by using the front door mounted selector switch.
  • Provides full redundancy – the controller will start the next jockey pump in case of a short circuit or overload of the running jockey pump.

Model JPV

  • Starts and varies the speed of the motor so the pump will not deliver more pressure than the stop pressure (maximum pressure) value.
  • Provision to allow for a timed ramp-up start (soft start) of the motor which eliminates the introduction of high pressure spikes into the piping system.
  • Minimum Run Period Timer is supplied as standard.

  • Designed to accept two separate power sources (i.e. normal & alternate)
  • Automatically connects to alternate power in case of normal power failure.
  • Keeps the jockey pump operational under all circumstances.
  • Eliminates unnecessary starting of the fire pump with all associated consequences such as high power drain, load shedding, undesirable alarms etc.
  • Provides full backup and maintenance of the system.
